Get This: Victoria Stiles Makeup Artist Book

This weekend I had the pleasure of taking a luxurious trip (ok…I took the $40 bus) to Washington, D.C. for a fabulous afternoon of makeup talk and margaritas (ok…I baby-sat a glass of merlot) with the great beauty writers, Lianne Farbes (The Makeup Girl), Victoria Stiles (Makeup Artist Backstage), Julia Coney (All About the Pretty) and Social Butterfly Sangetta Rao. All four ladies really inspired me to step my game up when it comes to my craft! Especially Victoria who works full time as a beauty and editorial makeup artist. She recently published a fabulous book of some of her outstanding work. If you love looking at glossy pics of beautiful artwork or love to have a handy guide to use as inspiration when doing your own makeup, get her book! It’s sold here.

P.S. The Makeup Girl had recently got lash extension put in (see the gorgeous results here). Now THAT is how you do lash extensions! If you live in the DC area (I think quite a few of you do), you can get yours done at:
