Do It or Age Quickly
This past Monday I was given an invite to attend the launch party for JB Bearns’ new book entitled Do It or Age Quickly: 60 Second Practices to Live Better, Stronger and Longer at the fabulous rooftop of the Empire Hotel in Manhattan. You might know JB Bearns from his popular at-home exercise Urban Rebounder fame, but he’s also a celebrity personal trainer and twenty year master of the arts of yoga as well as martial arts. Basically, the man knows what he’s talking about!
I’ve actually used his Urban Rebounder for quite some time. My mom got it for me as a gift (gee, thanks mom–what are you trying to say? *stares at twinkie*) and I was surprised at how much those DVDs and that little trampoline got my heart rate up. I had to retire my rebounder since I had to do some downgrading and it no longer fit in my living room, but boy is it a workout and a half.
To truly live the healthy lifestyle, one must do more than just simply workout. From his years of studying martial arts, Bearns learned about many practices and products from his instructors (who are now in their 70s 80s and 90s yet look half their ages). They were all quick and simple techniques to follow that are all described in Do It or Age Quickly.
Of the book, Bearns says,
