Creme of Nature Detangling Conditioning Shampoo

I’ve been using Creme of Nature products since I was a little girl. I LOVED the classic floral and fruity tones that let you know a Creme of Nature product was being used on your hair even if you never saw the label. In fact sometimes I’d actually love when I got caught in the rain without an umbrella because it meant I could experience the scent all over again…lol. I might have been a weird child. Don’t judge me.

But anyway, Creme of Nature has recently revamped the looks of their products (which also now feature certified organic ingredients) and have even added body lotion to their line (more on this later). I tried out their new Sunflower & Coconut Detangling Conditioning Shampoo the last two times I washed my hair. If you have dry hair like me, you know that some shampoos can be really drying. I find this to be especially so when I’m close to needing a relaxer touch-up. If I don’t use the right shampoo, my hair will start to feel like a Brillo pad upon first lather. But since this shampoo conditions as well as detangles, my hair gets detangled and still manages to stay soft through all three rinses. I even carried this with me to my hair salon when I went for a wash and set, and my shampoo lady kept gushing over how great it is. And it has that signature Creme of Nature scent that I remember from my childhood.

Since the formula is for “normal” hair (and trust me, there’s nothing “normal” about my hair at all…lol), so if you have severely dry or damaged hair, I’d maybe go for one of Creme of Nature’s more moisturizing shampoos followed by one of their deep conditioning treatments. I consider my hair to be dry and this formula still worked for me. And priced less than $6, it works for my budget, too…lol. I recommend this for anyone one with slightly dry to dry hair looking for a great detangling shampoo. Good for both relaxed and natural hair.

The folks at Creme of Nature scent me over a couple of products to try out and share with you ladies (and gents), so stay tuned for more reviews.

I wish I had read this earlier before I went out. I could have tried some. My hair tends to be dry, and it does get quite tangled sometimes. I might try to get some tomorrow.
