Fitness Friday: Yoga Fitness Fusion with Angie Stewart
My five times a week workouts have been seriously put on the back burner since I injured my neck and shoulder. My physical therapist mentioned I should instead try Yoga since it will help to strengthen my back and isn’t as prone to injury as cardio or weight training. Since I’m soooo not trying to be in anybody’s gym since I have Exercise TV on my overpriced cable plan, I decided to try out Yoga Fitness Fusion with Angie Stewart.
O-M-G-! I thought Yoga was an easy workout (I hadn’t really done it before), but this combines Yoga with some cardio moves. Tell me why I was out of breath after like 10 minutes? The entire workout is about 46 minutes and I actually had to stop the workout to grab some water and chill out. Yoga is no joke and when you add in cardio it’s not a game. But I love that since it gives me something to work up to and challenge me. I’m going to try and do it at least 3 times a week and mix it in with some Pilates.
