CoverGirl’s folks sent over a few of the new lipsticks from the new Pat McGrath and Queen Collection collaboration line due in stores next month (1/11). I attended the Spring 2011 Night of Beauty at Robert Verdi’s Luxe Lounge and got to meet Pat herself. Almost a month later and I’m still on cloud nine. She was sooo sweet. LOVEHER.

I’m loving how the lipsticks (at least the three they sent me) are very pigmented and have a bit of a shine to them. I got at least five hours of wear out of Fine Wine as the formula leaves a stain on the lips even as the lipstick fades. I’m not a fan of the smell though. I’d describe it as a “flowery crayon” but I only notice it when I’m applying—it’s not strong enough to last after that. The packaging is super sleek and “higher end” looking which could make the drugstore diva’s day.
