Please, Mother Nature, don’t let it rain for Fashion’s Night Out. NYC is terrible to navigate in the rain—people drive faster for some odd reason and try walking around with the sea of umbrellas. *sigh*
Weather permitting I plan on starting my FNO NYC at Bergorf Goodman around 4:00 P.M. for the beauty festivities. Then the rest of my night will look something like this:
6 P.M. Macy’s 34th street (Coco Rocha, Kelly Rowland, Rachel Roy, and more will be there)
7 P.M. Lord & Taylor (who has a slew of events and celebrity appearances including a DJ set with Solange Knowles)
8 P.M. Saks Fifth Avenue (popping in to meet Estee Lauder Creative Director Tom Pecheux
8:30 P.M. Bond No. 9 (to smell their new scent)
9 P.M. Head on down to the Meatpacking District to meet up with my fellow fashion and beauty bloggers and grab a bite to eat.
Me and my blogging buddies (like Love Brown Sugar and The Glamazons are all hanging TOUGH for the night though we all may not have the same itineraries. You can keep up with the fun and festivities (and JOIN US!) by emailing me at email@example.com to let me know you want to be down or just follow and use hashtags #FNO #BloggerCrawl on Twitter (follow me @StyleNBeautyDoc) to keep up with all the hot spots for the night.
For now, keep your fingers and toes crossed it won’t rain. Blah. Rain. On Fashion’s Night Out? AS IF!
