Iman White Gold Eyeshadow Will Add Some Sparkle in Your Life

You know that effortlessly pretty sweep of white gold shadow you often see on the red carpet and on the runway? The look that any skin tone can rock and it makes your eyes sparkle? You can totally get that with Iman Eyeshadow in White Gold ($8 or less). I received a sample for review consideration and since wearing it, it’s pretty much been rocking my socks.

Though I love doing eye makeup on others, in recent years I’ve opted to skip it quite often on myself to save time on primping so I can spend a little more time snoozing. Iman White Gold Eyeshadow is quite pigmented yet you can sheer it out. I test any eyeshadows for review without a primer/base underneath and this one stayed on my lids for eight hours with minor creasing. You’d definitely want to wear a primer or base underneath it to get it to last all day without creasing, but I was impressed on how long it lasted on its own.

Three other cool things about this shadow are 1. if you’re a makeup novice, you can easily apply this as a single wash of color on the lid with your index finger 2. it works on just about every skin tone, and 3. it can also double as a highlighter for use on the face, decolletage, and brow bone.

It wasn’t easy getting this to show up on me on camera, but I am wearing it in this pic (along with MAC Vintage Grape Blush Ombre on the cheeks and Fashion Fair Plum Passion lipstick):

Bottom line: This is definitely worth checking out if you don’t have a similar color in your stash.

Have you tried Iman White Gold Eyeshadow? What were your thoughts?
