Illamasqua sent over a few products from the new Human Fundamentalism collection (due at Sephora 3/20): Neutral Palette, Box Lipstick, and Nail Varnish in Stance. I’ve been a huge fan of the brand’s Powder Blusher and Cream Blusher, but haven’t really ventured out to try anything else from the line. Needless to say I was pretty excited to try out the newness.
Neutral Palette contains four—you guessed it—neutral eyeshadows. The pigmentation is pretty awesome even with the matte shades. They lasted about four hours without a base before they started to fade, but with a base you get your pretty standard eight hours of wear.
Box Lipstick is a bold matte blue-red but is one of the creamiest, easiest to apply matte lipsticks you’ll come across. It reminds me of MAC Ruby Woo, but Ruby Woo has more blue in it and has a drier finish than Box.
Both items are okay to have, but to be honest I’m most excited about the Nail Varnishes in this collection. When I go in for a mani/pedi, I’m definitely rocking Stance (a bright mauve) and when the collection hits Sephora next week, I’m all over Nomad (Bright Jade). I’ve never tried an Illamasqua Nail Varnish but have heard they’re pretty amazing so I’ll be sure to report back a week after my mani ;)
Will you be getting anything from Human Fundamentalism?
