OK…seriously…between me and you…I want to practically put EVERYTHING from Kevyn Aucoin Beauty on my face. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. We already know how I feel about the Sensual Skin Enhancer (pictured above–and is seriously the things angels are made of) and the vivid hues the blush collection comes in? A scandal. I kinda wish I’d met Kevyn Aucoin Beauty products first because had I not already owned similar shades, the entire blush collection would be mine. No lie—Sensual Skin Enhancer + Kevyn Aucoin Blush = sex on your face.

The brand recently had a relaunch party at New London Pharmacy (on Eighth Avenue between 22nd and 23rd, but closer to 23rd) and I totally had to stop by. Kevyn Aucoin Beauty is definitely a high end brand where you can justify the cost on some of the brand’s best items—it incites something in the senses (I mean, how can you not perk up from something with the name “Sensual” in the title?)

I didn’t pick up any of these new bronzers, but I’m mad I didn’t. They’re soft, yet pigmented and give you a healthy glow without shimmer (hallelujah).

As for the new Matte Lip Colors ($32)—they’re creamy and quite moisturizing despite being matte and promise six hours of wear. I bought and gave Everlasting (a pinky red) a test run and loved the way it felt on my lips. I had some fading after a meal, but got about five hours of wear—not bad—it didn’t make me cartwheel, but not bad.
