Her 5 Best: Tyra Banks

Tyra Banks has been consistently serve face throughout her career. With face painters like Sam Fine and Valente Frazier in her corner and of course the perfect smize, Tyra looks hot pretty much 24/7. But what were some of her better moments? Let’s take a look at what I deem her 5 best yet…

At the premiere of then rumored boyfriend Tyler Perry‘s Madea’s Family Reunion in 2006, Ty Ty sizzled with perfect brows, contoured cheeks, perfectly rimmed eyes, rosy-hued lips, and a glow that just won’t quit. I love the contrast of a blacker than black liner on the eyes and I’m always game for a highlighter.

Steal her look with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in Perversion, MAC Lipstick in Fluid, NYX Cosmetics Tango with Bronze in Bronze Ensemble, and MAC Blush in Plum Foolery.

Tyra gave us snatched-face realness at the Fashion Rocks show in 2007. Looking at the brows one would guess that this look was created by one Sam Fine. And fine it is! Barely any color was used here. The magic is in the contouring.

Copy this look with: an eyeshadow about 2-3 shades darker than your skin tone (if you choose a matte shade, you can also use this to contour your cheeks), an eyeshadow 1-2 shades lighter than your skin tone for your brow highlight, and a nude lip (or just apply gloss over your concealer/foundation).

At the 2008 Daytime Emmy Awards, mama went with a look to rival the trophy she picked up that evening for her talk show.

At the 2010 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards Tyra decided on matte red lips, bronze cheeks, and kohl-rimmed neutrals eye. She proves that sometimes matching your lip color to your outfit is actually okay.

Key elements to this look: a matte red like Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick in #8 and a deep bronzer like Bobbi Brown Bronzer in Deep.

Last year at the 2011 Metropolitan Opera Season opening night performance of “Anna Bolena” at The Metropolitan Opera House, the supermogul paired rosy lips with glowing cheeks and black liner. By doing so she executed an insanely gorgeous fierce daytime look.

Get it with: MAC Lustreglass in Beaux, Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in 0L Mat Black, and Too Faced Caribbean in a Compact Bronzer in Sun Bunny.
