Youngblood Cosmetics Tangelo Lipstick Packs the Perfect Summer Punch

Vibrant shades of orange are what’s hot for the summer. Nothing beats a sizzling neon lip or a softer more subdued blood orange for the more demure ladies when the sun is shining and your skin is baked bronzed glistening. Tangelo Lipstick, by Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics (sent to The Style and Beauty Doctor for review consideration) is perfect for any woman who wants that sheer coral orange lipstick color they can wear to the office then brighten it up to wear out for drinks.

This lipstick was amazingly moisturizing; it felt as if I was putting on a lip balm instead of a lipstick. Packed with a blend of natural oils and minerals, you don’t have to worry about your lips drying out with this product at all. I would suggest a good lip scrub before using this lipstick though. While the color is not as bright, it will bring out any imperfection in unpolished lips. What I really admired about Tangelo is that it works great for both day and evening. In order to make this color stand out and to garner a longer wear, Youngblood suggest layering your lips with a liner first. To make this soft toned color more my style I layered it over MAC Cosmetics Pro Long Wear Lip Pencil in “What a Blast”, a bold tangerine.

I loved how the color stood out and held its own. Tangelo has definitely earned a permanent spot in my lipstick drawer ;)

You can find Tangelo at ybskin.com for $19.00.
