When It’s Late at Night and You Want to Take it ALL Off…
OK, get your minds all the way out of the gutter…lol. I’m taking about taking off your eye makeup at night.
As much as I like putting on my makeup, I love taking it all off so I’m a little bit obsessed with makeup removers. Sure I already have my tried and true faves (Koh Gen Do Cleansing Water and Ole Henriksen Truth to Go Wipes), but what kind of beauty fiend would I be if I didn’t try a whole bunch of other products, right? Right.
So since my list of makeup remover faves include a cleansing water and wipes, I felt I had to go retro with Mario Badescu Eye Make Up Remover Cream (c/o Mario Badescu). It’s a super thick gel-cream that makes me feel all 1950s (this is a good thing) when I use it. And it’s super gentle. You basically rub some on your eyes and lashes with your fingers and then remove with a wet cotton ball in a downward direction. And everything from pesky waterproof liner and mascara to ten layers of eyeshadow will come right off. I love this because the process makes me feel all Old Hollywood. Like this:
Price and where to buy: $6 for 2 oz; $10 for 4 oz. Sold at mariobadescu.com, Ulta, Nordstrom, Blue Mercury and in NYC, Henri Bendel.
