Current Obsession: Remington T-Studio London Edition Curling Wand

Remington T-Studio London Edition curling Wand, motions hold & shine styling spray, motions light hold working spritz pin curls

I look forward to using curling wands whenever I have my hair straight because they get me really cool loose waves a la Gabrielle Union in a jiffy. I bought one from T3 back in May that I really enjoyed using until I received the Remington T-Studio’s London Edition Curling Wand for review consideration. For the holidays the Remington T-Studio Pearl Collection got a little London makeover for an edition sold exclusively at Target for the holidays (don’t worry, it’s still available now, but even if you miss out, the same tools will still be sold in their traditional “clothing”).

Yeah, so anyway, back to my current obsession for the Remington T-Studio Ceramic Curling Wand. I received the smaller wand (1/2″ to 1″) and when I tell you it gives me the BEST waves ever—it gives me the best waves ever…lol. I like that it works quickly—all you have to do is wrap a small to medium-sized section of hair and twirl it around the wand, hold for a few seconds, and then simply slide the iron out. I like to use Motions Light Hold Working Spritz on each section before I use the wand, and then after I form each curl, I pin curl and secure with a roller clip.

Now why do I like the Remington T-Studio Curling Wand better than my T3? The Remington is smaller in size so I get a better curl and at just $24.99 it’s easier on the pockets . Here’s more specifics on the two in case you were wondering:

T-Studio:
- Patent pending ceramic pearl technology for the smoothest salon finish ever.
- 1” to ½” styling wand to create a variety of styles.
- Creates professional tight & loose curls.
- 410°F salon high heat.
- Automatic shutoff.
- Precise digital controls.
- Includes heat protective glove for easy styling.
- 4 year warranty.

T3:
T3 Tourmaline-infused 1.25 inch/3.2cm tapered ceramic barrel
- Ceramic heating element
- Digital SinglePass™ heating
- Adjustable heat (to 450°F/232°C)
- LCD display
- One hour auto shut-off
- Cool tip and stand
- Heat-resistant glove

- Auto world voltage (100-240V)

Looser curls/waves:

Tighter ringlets: (I looked washed out and greasy here, but it’s the flash…lol)

Bottom line: The T-Studio London Edition Curling Wand (or if you miss the limited edition designed wand, the regular T-Studio Pearl Collection wand) is definitely worth a spin if you have shoulder length or longer hair and love the idea of a quick and easy to do Hollywood-esque hairstyle.
