So if it’s one thing I really enjoy about summer (besides you know, it being summer) is hanging out and enjoying the long days with a good cocktail in hand. Since I’m more of a lighter drink fan and am always trying to pretend I’m on some highly-rated television show about my single life in the city (oh wait—wasn’t that SATC?), I like to dine al fresco while sipping on something good and laughing my head off with friends.
I may have found one of my summer drinks last night at Glam Media’s Smirnoff Sorbet event! To kick off the pre-kickoff to the unofficial start of summer, I along with many of my blogger buds hit Ten Over Ten downtown for a summer soiree to celebrate the launch of the new Smirnoff Sorbet flavors. We were treated to manis and pedis, delicious sushi, tarot card reading (I was too chicken to try…lol), and a fab makeup station as we luxuriated with our Smirnoff Sorbet cocktails.
There’s three flavors:
Mango Passion Fruit
Being the island girl that I am (meanwhile I was born in Queens) I totally went for the Mango Passion Fruit cocktail which coincidentally matched my nail color (NARS x Pierre Hardy Sharks Left). I loved that it was light and delicious and totally refreshing. The new Sorbet flavors are also easy on the calories so you don’t feel all guilty.
And I kinda wish I was still at the event now drinking one. *sheds single tear*
ANYWAY, a delicious time was had by all and stay tuned as I’ll have more cool Smirnoff summer stuff to chat about soon :)
