After trying a bunch of LORAC Cosmetics‘ recent eyeshadow palettes, it’s safe to say the brand is UNABLE to make bad shadows. Pro Palette 1, Pro Palette 2, the Party Palette—they’re all super pigmented and rich and come in a beautiful array of shades. Ditto the LORAC Unzipped Palette. 10 gorgeous neutrals that work on all skin tones that just won’t quit.
So there’s four mattes and six shimmery shades so you better like shimmery if you consider this. I like that there’s a good range of shades in the neutral category—some metallics and two deeper shades so you can get any number of eye makeup looks for both day and night. The shadows are highly pigmented and show up well without a primer but of course like any eyeshadow if you want to ensure all day wear, put a primer or base underneath. Luckily this comes with one.
Bottom line: GORGEOUS palette with amazing performance. Just check your existing neutral palette stash to make sure you don’t have any repeats.
