Okay folks—Valentine’s Day is coming at us full speed ahead. Whether you have plans or just like to have cute dresses in your arsenal for “just in case” moments, I’ve got a quick look at three non-red dress ideas for Valentine’s. You know, because everything is all about red, red, red, red, RED I figured other colors need love, too…lol. Here’s three Valentine’s Day date night outfit ideas…

Look 1

The little white long-sleeve dress. I love a long-sleeve white dress—so chic and so easy. Anytime I need to go out and have no clue what I want to wear, I get a dress like this—I wore one the first time I covered the red carpet for Motions Hair at the “Best Man Holiday” premiere. I feel like I need to go buy like 50 more…lol. Shoe options for an LWD range from black to tan to gold to silver to just about anything really.

The vampy black dress. I had to pin this one because the neckline was plunging really low and all my business would have been popping out…lol. But I LOVE something like this because you keep it in your closet and break it out when you have dinner plans or a night out.

This is my favorite! I love pairing a super flirty dress with something tough like a leather jacket.

Now obviously it’s too cold in NYC to wear these as I am (posing indoors with the heat on…lol), so if you’re in a colder climate, add tights, over the knee boots (they’re SO a layer), and of course a cardigan and a super warm coat along with your scarf, hat/earmuffs, and gloves.

I SO wanted to take these pics outdoors because I feel like I have more freedom to twirl and spin without breaking anything in Nas’ studio (lol), but it was below freezing the day we shot these and um, see the way my good sense is set up, I was SO not attempting it. I don’t know how personal style bloggers who live in areas that get distinct seasons do it. Even when I’m bundled up in layers with gloves on and stuff, I’m begging to go back inside…lol.

I’m not the “posing” kind of girl so I much prefer to be caught in action which is easier for me outside (again, I can twirl and stuff without worrying about breaking equipment….lol). I may not have any new outfit posts until the weather gets at least in the 50s.

Lol I feel you about the cold weather! I’m known to layer in the winter but I’m still freezing within minutes. I have no idea how these girls get all cute and pose in cold but I have much respect for them! Glad you stayed indoors though lol. I like all of these looks but I LIVE for #3 and #1! Very flirty and feminine!

LOL—right! It usually takes me a few minutes to warm up to having my picture taken so when it’s cold outside it’s even worse…lol. The faces I make are so not cute…lol.

      Thanks :)
