LORAC is launching the third installment of their popular Pro Palette series—get ready for the LORAC Pro Palette 3!

LORAC Pro Palette 3 contains eight matte and eight shimmer shadows and can be used wet or dry. Like the other Pro Palettes, LORAC Pro Palette 3 also comes with a mini LORAC Behind the Scenes Eye Primer which is one of my faves. I even use it on non-LORAC eyeshadows.

LORAC Pro Palette 3 comes in a light greyish-beige casing (which I have already soiled with my fingerprints and can see it getting even more colorful once I start getting my dark brown foundation on it…lol) and differs from the other Pro Palettes in that it contains an array of lighter colored neutrals. It’s a pretty palette and the color arrangement makes it versatile for any number of eye makeup looks for both day and night. Only thing is for deeper skin tones like mine, there are too many light shades. This isn’t to say you can’t use them at all (you can use a lighter neutral shade as a base under other shades to get the color to show up more vividly) but to me there are far more flattering eyeshadow palettes for deeper skin like mine—and since we’re talking LORAC, I’d say either Pro Palette 1 or 2. There are about five shadows I know I wouldn’t use much at all, but I do LOVE the deeper shades in the palette. So while LORAC Pro Palette 3 isn’t a bad palette, there are eyeshadow palettes that are better suited for deeper skin tones. If you have a lighter or fair skin tone, I’d imagine this would be the type of palette you’d love because of the lighter neutrals mixed with the deeper ones.

Quality on the shadows is good—good pigmentation and they last well without a base but of course as with any shadow if you want them to last all day without creasing or fading, you’ll need a primer. Like I mentioned above this one comes with a primer so you’re all set.

Bottom line: LORAC Pro Palette 3 is a great palette—good color selection, great pigmentation—but if you have a deeper skin tone like mine, I do feel there are more flattering eyeshadow palettes for our skin tones—the LORAC Pro Palette 1 and 2 being among them.
