Shop Fall’s Flyest Skirts #OutfitsInOctober

My style is casual at heart, but I LOOOOOVE a cute flirty skirt. In fact many of my “going out” looks involve just that so I thought it would only be right to do a post on some of fall’s flyest skirts for #OutfitsInOctober.

I get most of my statement skirts from ASOS—I love shopping there because I can pretty much type any type of clothing item in the search box and have options come up. ASOS is also boss because they offer free shipping (standard 4-day shipping is free for orders over $40 or just $4 for orders under $40) and free returns. Two-day shipping is $12 or free for orders over $140 with code EXPRESSUSA (but you can’t combine that code with any other codes). I have ASOS Premier which for $19/year gets me unlimited two-day shipping on all of my orders regardless of total. I order from ASOS at LEAST four times a month and that’s low-balling…lol.

The Trumpet/Flippy/Pleated Skirt

I’ve talked about my love for this particular skirt in previous style posts, but I’m SO happy I bought it. It was like $20 on sale at J. Crew when I got it two years ago and if you factor in cost per wear since I bought it (cost of the item divided by the amount of times you wear it), it’s very close to being free. I love this style of skirt because it’s SO super flirty—to balance out the funness of this skirt, I typically pair it with a pretty simple top and cute shoes.

The Major Split Skirt

I LOVE this style because at first glance folks may not notice the split then you take a step and it’s like BAM! Since this is also a very flirty style, I like to balance this type of skirt with something simple up top or I’ll pair it with something edgy like I did here.

The Leather Skirt

Nothing says edgy and sexy quite like the leather skirt! Thanks to the number of options out there in leather skirts (or pleather, heyyyy) you can grab one that best suits your style. I like to balance out the toughness of the leather skirt with something chic or sweet up top.

The Lace Skirt

This is my fave way to rock the lingerie trend. Whether it’s a lace hem or a full-on lace skirt, this style is definitely one to try. By now I’m sure you’ve noticed a styling trend with this post so I’m sure you guessed how I’m going to mention how I like to style the lace skirt, right? If you guessed with something tough (and what’s tougher than leather—shout out to Run DMC), you were right!

The Midi Skirt

I love a good midi skirt because it can be dressed up or dressed down. And if I were to be completely candid, I like them because I can also get away with not shaving my entire leg…lol. My only styling tip when it comes to a midi skirt is to be mindful of proportions or it can look like you’re a 5 year old who raided her gamma’s closet real quick.

Hi Danielle! I really love your classy and innovative sense of style. You look great in all of them but the shots of you in the leather skirt are my favorite. On another note I am so happy you are on YouTube!!

Love the skirts, I think leather and midi are my favorite. Where are the shoes from in the midi picture?

      Thank youu~

They’re old—-I got them from Piperlime right before they went out of business. I think they’re Joe’s Jeans brand though.
