Hey there fine folks!

So this post is going to be quick because I do one of these posts at least once a year (or maybe twice since the sale is usually on twice) and a lot of the items I think are worth buying during the sale remain the same. You can check out my past Sephora VIB sale posts to see what I’ve bought in the past.

Sale details:
VIB ROUGE (people who spend $1000 or more each year): 15% off 4/13-4/16 and 4/20-4/23 use code YAYROUGE
VIB (people who spend $350 or more each year): 15% off 4/20-4/23 use code YAYVIB
Beauty Insider (sign up without a set spending amount): 10% off 4/20-4/23 use code YAYINSIDER

This year I have to wait until the second phase of the sale because I was downgraded to VIB (I told ya’ll 2017 was a trash year for me…lol) so I have a little more time to think about what I’m getting. So far on my list I’m contemplating Drunk Elephant Marula Oil—I got a sample size in a big PR package they sent me a bit ago and I really like it so I may need a bigger size. I need to re-up on a few things but to be honest, as someone who writes about beauty and does marketing consulting for brands for a living, I don’t tend to need to buy much because so many of my faves are sent to me for review consideration. This isn’t to say I still don’t buy, but my shopping lists become lighter because of this. I’m also contemplating some Huda Beauty lashes (the Samantha ones I like are sold out, so I may try Giselle) and I need more Cover FX Custom Cover Drops and another Cover FX Pressed Mineral Powder in N120 which I use for contouring.

I *may* get a Pat McGrath lipstick and maybe a Fenty lipstick, but I would only be buying them just to buy them because I don’t need any more lip colors (I’m trying to stay minimalist with my makeup stash).

This is a great time to stock up on favorites that you use all the time. It’s also a great time to check out some skincare sets—read why I love skincare sets here and shop some sets in the widget below.

Make sure you use the arrow to shop more as there are tons more sets to shop in the widget.

One thing to note as my followers on Instagram reminded me, sometimes you can get better deals buying directly from brands as many of them have Friends & Family sales going on around this time (you can google to find the dates for some of your favorite brands). The 15% off for VIB Rouge & VIB and the 10% off for BI seems so tiny when you compare it to some brands offering 25-30% off on their own sites. So make sure you shop around so you get the best deal. You can also check out my Instagram post to see what other people who follow me are getting. And make sure you follow me on IG if you aren’t already!

AGAIN, make sure you check out my past Sephora VIB Sale posts to see what I’ve bought in the past.

What are you getting from the Sephora sale? Tell me in the comments!
