I’m working my way through my pending beauty stash (hence why I started #SwatchesInSeptember) and today it’s all about these The Estee Edit Metallishadows that I received for consideration after attending a press event over the summer.
Call me the foundation whisperer. Or not. I mean, it’s a free country—do whatever you want…lol. But I am committed to trying as many foundation and other complexion products as I possibly can (criteria has to be that they come in my shade which rules out a lot of brands *rolls eyes*) to help you guys make wiser makeup decisions. You can see all my foundation reviews here. If you need some help on how to pick out your foundation, I got you! Check out my Foundation 101 post and video. People are really loving that video (what? they ARE! lol).
Hi ladies, Jade here!
As a part of the millennial crowd, I’ve seen many companies and brands attempt to win us over with initiatives targeted towards what they think our “interests” and “hobbies” are. The latest brand to jump on board has been legendary corporation, Estée Lauder with the release of their newest project, The Estée Edit, a social media driven collection geared towards Gen Y that finally got it right. However, don’t let the Millennial-driven focus through you off. The 82-piece collection has something in it for every type of woman. Whether you’re 50 or 21, the line can meet your beauty needs. Inspired by spokesmodels Kendall Jenner and Irene Kim, The Estée Edit is making a huge effort to reach out to a younger demographic with its hip yet sophisticated packaging and color palette.
Can you believe that March is right around the corner? I feel like I was just typing out my New Year’s resolutions and now February is nearing its end. Of course there’s so much to look forward to in March – warmer weather, less clothes and some additional beauty launches hitting stores. From nails to hair, some brands are giving us even more of a reason to want March to roll in and we can’t wait. Check out my top picks that are currently on my radar and likely on yours, too!
It’s fall! OK—it’s BEEN fall…lol. And technically you can wear the shades featured year-round but when a new season comes, don’t you want to see some ideas? I know you dooooo :)
I don’t think I’ll ever not be here for new lip color formulas. Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion launched at counters this month and I’m totally here for it.
