Some of My Favorite Soft and Bold Pinks for Dark Skin

I soooo meant to put this post up while I was in the Caribbean but then you know how it is—island vibes just feel so right so I was totally into just liming (Trini speak for hanging out) so I brought you my kinda daily diaries…lol. But yeah, I did one on my fave nude lip colors because although I brought you a ton of colors in both of my 50 Shades of Lipstick series, I also showcased colors just so you’d see how a certain color looked and those weren’t all necessarily my faves. And then after the shade my mom gave me for my nude lip colors (lol), I thought it would be nice to let you know which colors were my personal faves—you know—in case you care about what I like…lol.

Some of My FAVORITE Nude Lipsticks for Dark Skin

So after my mom “outed” me for looking like I had Botox in my last nude lip post (I had to explain to her that 50 Shades of Lipstick is a guide and I may wear colors I don’t like just to show a variety of shades…lol), I figured it’d be a good idea anyway to say which of the lip colors in the series are my favorite colors. I had changed my personal profile pic on Facebook and my mom left a comment asking if the color I was wearing was a nude and said she loved it (it was MAC Touch Lipstick) so you can say she also inspired this post…lol. I’ll do this for other color families as well—which would be great because since I’m in Trinidad (CARNIVAL) and then Barbados for a bit I can still update yet still be on a break…lol.

50 Shades of Lipstick 2: Here’s Some More Nudes (Uh, Lip Color That Is)

So back in like June I had this idea of gathering up all my lipsticks and taking a pic of me wearing each one. That was until I realized just how many lipsticks I own. From what I’ve bought over the years, what’s been sent here for the blog, and what I have in my makeup artist kit, I have waaaaaaaay too many to do that. So then I settled on 50 and even trying to decide which colors got to make that list was a lot of work, too…lol. You can see the first 50 Shades of Lipstick Series here.

Then I decide why stop at 50 and decided to do it again!
