If you follow Benefit on a regular basis you might’ve peeped last week’s Vegas trip that included lots of makeup, bloggers, influencers, editors, and did I mention makeup? During the two-day excursion they decided to give us even more FOMO (fear of missing out) by announcing their new and upcoming 10-piece brow collection. Benefit Gimme Brow which has had a major makeover and is also included in this new launch, is my go-to product. Not only do I reach for it when I’m on a tight schedule, but the small brush really gets in there for a natural look. So since I’ve had a love affair with Benefit Gimmie Brow, I was amped that they were extending their brow collection with awesome additions as well as revamping a few of their staples like Brow Zings and High Brow.
New York Color ambassador and all around pop queen, Demi Lovato is teaming up with the brand to release her first makeup line ever – “Lovatics.” Not only are the products all under 5 bucks, but the packaging is true to the company’s style with a bit of that Demi edge we all love. The line will be made up of eight-pieces, but until the full collection drops we’ve got a sneak peek of 4 products that will all be available at Target. Scroll down for a look.
Happy 2016 ladies! Now that the holidays are over, it seemed fitting that I’d start the year off with my current products of interest. With so many new product launches and beauty resolutions I compiled a list of the things that will merge the two together and help me begin 2016 the right way.
So who here has already seen The Perfect Guy, the new romantic thriller starring Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy, and Morris Chestnut? If you haven’t (I’m going as soon as I get back to NYC) I highly suggest going out and supporting the movie—it’s super important if you want to see more movies like this that star Black actors. Not to mention how FINE all three stars continue to be and I personally would like to ogle them all WAY more on screen…lol. To celebrate the movie’s release, I’ve teamed up with Black Opal Beauty to create a date night makeup look inspired by the movie :)
