Quick Review: No7 Early Defence Day Cream SPF 30

If you’ve never been to London or just not familiar with the No7 brand, it’s the housebrand of a chain of “drugstores” (quotes around that because, I mean, it’s more than a drugstore) called Boots that of course fills prescriptions but it’s also in many ways like an Ulta since they sell both mass (or self-selection as it’s called at Boots) and prestige beauty brands. I hit one on Oxford St. when I was in London last year that sold both Chanel and Sleek MakeUP. The No7 brand is that perfect in between of the mass brands and the prestige brands and has skincare, bodycare, and makeup under its belt. Folks, I’m writing this blog post from the future (I’m six hours ahead of EST..lol) in Stockholm, Sweden where I’ll be for the next few days before heading off to a few more cities around Europe. I’m here with Tracy from Tracy’s New York Life and we’ll later meet up with Terri from Tripping with Terri and Olga from Dreams in Heels—I met all three ladies during my trip to Ecuador last year and decided to continue to stalk them through Europe…lol.

So my fellow oily girls the world over, this summer season can sometimes be especially hard for us. Make sure you’re up to speed with my oily skin posts so we’re all on the same page with the oily 4-1-1. But as I’ve been saying, oily skin isn’t a curse—it’s what keeps our skin looking practically ageless even as we “age.” You want to CONTROL the oil, NOT completely obliterate it. Often times folks do the most to try and get rid of the oil when those actions only cause the skin to produce even more oil. SMH.
