TSABD Trend: 4 Accessories to Up Your Spring/Summer Wardrobe Game

spring wardrobe updates 2 copy

There’s no need to buy a ton of new clothes for the spring/summer season. You can simply upgrade your faithful standbys with some fun new accessories. I used to be of the “let me run to the mall and spend like $500+ on new clothes for the season” school of fashion, but those days are long and gone…lol. I’m over here watching what I’m eating so I can shed the pounds I gained because I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO BUY NEW SPRING CLOTHES…lol. OK—I’ll buy a *few* things, but they will be VERY strategic purchases. But you can make what you have work over and over and OVER again with key accessories. Here are a few to check for this spring/summer.

Fashion on Friday: The Feather Statement Belt

bcbg feather belt

I got this feather belt on super sale at BCBG a few years ago. I didn’t have an immediate need for it when I bought it, but I KNEW it would be put to great use in my wardrobe. Holiday Outfit Idea: Edgy New Year’s Mix: White Maxi Dress + Moto Jacket

While I love party gear, I’m also the queen of “Um, I need to be able to wear this a gazillion times” so I spotted this super cute white cut-out dress from ASOS that I knew I wanted to be able to wear beyond the stroke of midnight.

My Black Friday & Cyber Monday “Haul”

glam holiday party outfit idea-5

I swore I wasn’t going to buy anything for Black Friday or Cyber Monday—that’s because I got wind of many of the deals early on and decided I didn’t need anything. Then of course some brands were super silent about their deals and when they hit I was at my computer like this…

My “Luxe for LESS” Gift Guide

If you follow me on Snapchat, you’ll know I was in the holiday spirit early this year. SUPER early. In fact, I had a Christmas tree in my office with lights and everything before Halloween even hit. I’m usually not this Christmas-y so early—I typically can wait until after Thanksgiving or at least the first week in December before I start putting “All I Want for Christmas” on repeat, but 2016 has been such an overall crummy year that I needed to break out the holly and jolly early.
