My Who What Wear x Target Collection Dress

danielleOutfits-5 smaller

I’ve been on a HUGE clothes shopping hiatus. Well, at least it seemed huge to me…lol. I’m guessing the 2016 election results hit me harder than I thought because I gained back the weight I lost AND I had ZERO budget to buy new clothes. Most of my cute stuff is feeling a bit smedium so I’ve been really creative when it comes to getting dressed. I did allow myself a few purchases though—one of which is this dress from the Who What Wear collection from Target.

Currently Obsessed: Big Hair, Jumpsuits and Robes

Yes, I know Wednesdays are supposed to be Wear to Work Wednesdays (and if I have time before I need to get dressed and go to a makeup event in Manhattan, I’ll post a look), but lately I’ve been busy with a few projects (thank you LORD because this year was starting to look a little bleak…lol) and my posting schedule has been a bit off. Part of it has to do with my new way of blogging which has meant WAY more content features like video demos and more but has also meant fewer posts because I can only churn out quality content every so often. I also have my 14 year old nephew visiting me from Georgia for a few weeks so I’ve been juggling a lot with taking him places and what not.

Fashion on Friday: The Feather Statement Belt

bcbg feather belt

I got this feather belt on super sale at BCBG a few years ago. I didn’t have an immediate need for it when I bought it, but I KNEW it would be put to great use in my wardrobe. One thing I will always keep buying even as my spending on clothing slowly decreases (well, compared to how I used to spend) are statement accessories.

Restyling My Fave Trench for Early Spring

style trench for spring danielle3Spring-11

I bought this trench from Monki in Stockholm last summer during their July sale. I think I paid maybe $20-30 for it though I was originally eyeing it on ASOS for over $100 before I spotted it in Monki. I also wore it in this style post last fall. I. LOVE. THIS. TRENCH. I made a boo boo when I first got it home and burned the bottom of it when I ironed it because it was super wrinkled from being in my suitcase. I like to pretend the iron burn isn’t there so if you somehow spot it in these pics, pretend like you don’t see it, too…lol.

Old Coat, New Looks: SUPER Easy Ways to Upgrade Your Outerwear

how to upgrade your old winter coat

Man, I am OBSESSED with coats. It’s obviously my winter fashion staple because um, hello, I live in NYC and it gets disrespectfully cold here at times, but also because a cool winter coat can make any outfit infinitely more “fashion.”
