Ok going to try and make this a quick review, but you know how that winds up sometimes when I say I want to make something quick…lol.
Marc Jacobs Beauty sent over three new shades of the Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer. Immediately I was drawn to shade 320 because it looked like a brownish pink which make for beautiful nudes on dark skin.

Let it be known that I tried to come up with a catchy title like I typically do with my beauty review posts for products I really like, but it’s 1:19 A.M. as I’m writing this so my wit isn’t exactly free-flowing. Grrrr.
But I am enthused about Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con eyeshadow palette in The Vamp. I bought it last weekend while browsing through Sephora and being wowed from swatching the tester. There was audible gasping, folks. Audible. Gasping.
If you were sitting at your desk thinking to yourself “Hmm…you know what? There should probably be more fashion designers with beauty lines,” then you are in luck! (I also do palm readings in exchange for giftcards to Saks). Marc Jacobs is actually debuting a beauty line this summer!
So what can we expect? A whole lot actually!
I’m SO over winter…lol. I mean, I do like dressing for winter because there’s so many possibilities with layering and outerwear…ohhhh and boots, but I am tired of going outside and within seconds my hands look like an old alligator bag or my nose starts running like Roscoe. I’m headed to LA tomorrow for a bit of a reprieve, but it will STILL be winter when I get back home. booooo hisssssss
Needless to say I’m looking forward to warmer temps and a whole new way of dressing so let’s take a look at some spring 2013 fashion trends we will love forever…
Nothing complements all the bold colors and prints we’re seeing at the spring shows quite like the messy updo. Seriously, whoever created this is a genius. First of all, it works on every hair texture—straight, wavy, curly, kinky—it all works. Second, it requires very little effort and third, it’s the perfect fix for a bad hair day.
Target has brought us ‘bargainstas’ such collaborations from Jean-Paul Gaultier, Zac Posen, Missoni and more recently Jason Wu but nothing…I repeat…NOTHING prepared me for reading this today.
Slated for release on December 1, 2012, this mother-of-all-fashion-collaborations will be available at both Target and Neiman Marcus. Yes, BOTH the barganista and high-end fashionista shopping meccas. It is currently being called the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection and will feature TWENTY FOUR (24) design houses (and members of the CDFA– Council of Fashion Designers of America) contributing pieces with their unique style ranging from $7.99 to $499.
So what designers are participating? Read on and let your bank account weep!
