How to Snag a Beauty Box During Your Next Walgreens Trip

Next time you’re at Walgreens, your $30 in purchases could qualify you for one of Walgreens’ new cute beauty boxes. I got one recently via Glam Media and of course I’m here to tell you all about it :)

So first of all you definitely want to make sure you’re signed up for Walgreens’ Balance Rewards program. Balance Rewards is a comprehensive program that supports you in your efforts to live your life in a way that makes you happy and keeps you healthy. You can earn thousands of points on many of the items you buy that can be redeemed on future purchases, either in store or online. I signed up at my local Walgreens a while ago thee absolute second it was available…lol. I just keep my rewards card attached to my key chain so I always have it. As a matter of fact, it helped me save $2 on my last Walgreens purchase when I was in New Orleans :)

Now back to the box. Mine had a full size Schick Hydro Silk disposable shaver. And if we’re being completely honest, I’m kinda obsessed with shaving paraphernalia so I was happy to see it…lol. Also inside the box are samples of Aveeno Protect + Hydrate, L’Oreal Magic BB, Maybelline Dream Fresh BB, Garnier Ultra-Lift Targeted Line Smoother, and two coupons—$2 off any Garnier moisturizer and $1 off any Aveeno Active Naturals Sun Care Product. I think it’s a great extra to get in the mail—I mean, we’re going to be spending $30 on necessities anyway at Walgreens so this is a fun reward. I just wish there was a way to customize the colors of the samples in the box so it’s easier to try things out before heading over to buy at the drugstore. But overall, very fun to get some extras in the mail :)

Beauty can be found anywhere if you know where to look and, more importantly, who to ask. Walgreens has Beauty Advisors in every store, making expert beauty advice more accessible than ever. With Balance™ Rewards, spend $30 in store on participating beauty products and get a sample box by mail with this season’s best beauty finds. Learn more at
