For fall Sleek MakeUP wants you to get all romantic with gorgeous shades of gold, bronze, violet, rose, and sultry black and navy. The forthcoming Vintage Romance Collection contains an eyeshadow palette and blush to help get you there.

So first the Vintage Romance i-Divine Palette. You know how sometimes you buy an eyeshadow palette and there may be a few shades that don’t look so good so you very rarely use them? Not with this one—each shade works harmoniously either blended on its own or with a combo of other shades from the palette. And even best of all, colors like these work well on everyone. E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E. You can get a great variety of day time and night time looks with it, too.

And get this…

Even on their own they have great pigmentation and staying power—I do advise that you wear a base underneath for optimal performance though.

My only gripe is that for some reason my palette seems to be tough to open at times or maybe I need to get my iron levels up…lol.

Antique Blush (about $7 US/ £4.49) is a soft rosy pink with gold shimmer. It’s a gorgeous color, but unlike the eyeshadow palette, it won’t work well on all skin tones—it’s best for those with lighter skin tones and on skin my shade it’s still too light and chalky to be a highlighter. But not to worry because you can find a very wide range of blush shades from their regular lineup starting at just $6. Check out my previous Sleek MakeUP posts to see my thoughts and swatches.

Bottom line: The eyeshadow palette is a serious must-have—at just about $12.50 US (£7.99) it’s got great pigmentation, awesome color selection, and can easily slip into any bag for easy transport. It’s also thankfully going to head over to the permanent collection so even though it won’t have the same packaging, it’ll still be available for we eyeshadow lovers. As for the blush, it’s pretty for lighter skin tones, but I’d check out the full range of Sleek MakeUP blush shades if you’re not familiar with the brand.

The Vintage Romance Collection will be available beginning in September at Super Drug Stores and for us in the U.S. (and worldwide) by ordering online at
