Spring is here however spring temperatures are not. That’s actually not surprising at all in NYC. It’s spring for maybe like one week in late April/early May and then the weather seems to go straight to summer :/ I don’t mind much–gives me more time to wear my over the knee boots…lol.
Because I take my outfit pictures mostly all on one day, these were actually taken when it was still technically winter. And it was SUPER windy this day as you might notice from my dress and hair.
I think I need to start a fund for my statement over the knee boot cause next fall/winter. I got these from JustFab a while ago (I even have my name on the waitlist to automatically buy another pair when they’re back in stock in my size because I love these sooo much). But it’s pretty safe to say that I love the over the knee boot style enough to splurge on a more durable pair. I had a Barney’s gift card last fall that I was saving to buy a pair of designer flat over the knee boots but instead got a YSL bag when I didn’t see anything I wanted boot-wise. But next fall/winter, I’m all up on the designers. But only if they don’t cost too much…lol.
But that’s why I love JustFab and why so many of my “outfit” shoes come from them. I LOVE shoes and feel that they really help to transition an outfit, but I also love things like food and shelter so I can’t afford to splurge on “expensive” shoes I’ll only wear once or twice. If I’m just looking for trend I can slide up in JustFab’s DMs to get my fix and keep a roof over my head. And then when the shoes pile up I share the love and donate.
