Though they might be a bit mind-boggling for those who like to carry everything including the kitchen sink in their bags, mini bags are where it’s at, honey!

I mean, sure, it’s not going to be an EVERYDAY kind of bag, but when you’re hitting brunch, a quick trip to the mall, date night, or on an adventure touring a new city, you don’t need to be carrying everything you own in your bag anyway. You can carry just the essentials: your ID, your debit card, blotting compact, keys, lip color, and shoot, all of my mini bags can fit that plus my inhaler which I hardly ever need but keep just in case.

They also help to up the ante on the FASHION in your outfit. Wearing a cute midi dress, but feeling kind of plain? Pop on a zebra print mini bag like the one pictured and linked above and now we’re talking, boo!

I’m also a fan of a mini bag in a print so I can mix prints with my outfit. Learn how to mix prints like a pro in this vintage The Style and Beauty Doctor post.
