Me posted up in the toothpaste aisle in search of #ToothpasteBae
Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Crest. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
As someone who is open to the possibilities of finding my new bae anywhere (side note: if you follow me on IG and remember me asking about your fave dating apps, I STILL haven’t filled out my dating profiles smh), I am LOVING this #ToothpasteBae story.
Anyway, so as it goes, a guy recently sent a message to the Crest Facebook page telling them the story about how he met his fiancé in the toothpaste aisle at Target and asked the brand to send them a ton of Crest toothpaste to give out as favors at their wedding. Crest obliged and now I find myself oddly drawn to visiting the toothpaste aisle at Target—like daily. You know, just in case I meet my first husband there.
Crest went all out for this couple and even hired renowned artist, Cristiam Ramos, who creates artwork completely out of toothpaste to create a portrait of the couple made completely out of Crest toothpaste. Check out a timelapse of the artwork below!
Also related as it pertains to helping us save some coin while we scope out our own #ToothpasteBae (ha! get it? Scope out?!?!): there are TWO $2 off Cartwheel app deals available NOW thru October 27th on select Crest products. The Cartwheel app combined with my Target debit card is my jam for getting additional money off my purchases. You can find the $2 off Crest deals by searching the Target app or going here and here.
I mean seriously, I love that this story reminds us to keep our eyes open—you never know when you might run into “the one.” I lightweight feel like my workload got busy and distracted me from creating my online dating profiles because the universe is meaning for me to expand upon my dating options in person. Like I swear I’ll meet bae running errands or something. Shoot, I already have someone I’ve run into a bunch of times that I kinda-sorta have a teeny crush on. I see him in passing so I don’t even know his name or his situation, but he seems really nice and has paid me a few nice compliments over the times I’ve run into him. I wish I could say more, but I don’t know who knows who and who reads this blog (I get stopped pretty often around NYC by readers), but if it all works out well, I’ll tell you the scoop later…lol.
