Sleek MakeUP Face Form: 3 Highlight/Contour Products in 1

Read ALL about my review process including how I take swatches, photos, and more here.

Say what you will about Kim Kardashian (and I know you will…lol), but the girl sure isn’t afraid of a sculpted face via some highlighting and contouring. We were witness to the extent celebrity makeup artist Scott Barnes goes to give Kim a contoured cheek, nose, and jawline when the starlet tweeted pics during a recent makeup session. For years we’ve understood that a contour product could be anything from foundation stick, matte eyeshadow, matter bronzer, etc. but wouldn’t it make your life a lot easier if everything you needed was in one neat little compact?

I thought so!

Face Form in Medium

The geniuses at Sleek MakeUP—and I’ve been witness to how they’ll get an idea for a product and then get it on the market at high street (drugstore) prices to warrant them to be called geniuses—have already brought us the Face Contour Kit which included a contour/highlight powder duo in shade ranges from fair to dark. For fall the contour/highlight goes one step further with Face Form. Face Form takes it to the next level by adding a bronzer shade in the process.

Fair—contouring powder, highlighting powder, and Rose Gold Blush (see swatches of Rose Gold here)
Light—contouring powder, highlighting powder, and Rose Gold Blush
Medium—contouring powder, highlighting powder, and bronzer
Dark—contouring powder, highlighting powder, and dark bronzer

The brand sent over Face Form in Medium which works okay for my NW47 skin, but THEE second it’s available for sale on their website, I’m buying Dark, too (did you know the shipping fees have decreased at SleekMakeup.com? Yep! Instead of the flat $13.50 of the past, there seems to be a sliding scale so if you order just one item, expect to pay around $2-3 for standard, signed-for shipping).

I love how pigmented each shade is and how convenient it is to have all three shades in one compact. Sleek MakeUP is SO innovative! I seriously love this brand (I’d want to marry them if/when they ever set up shop in the U.S.) Aaaaand the compact is only $14 USD (£8.99).

Sleek MakeUP’s tips on how to apply:
Face Form is best used to highlight cheekbones, brow bones, and for contouring the nose and jaw line. Using an angled contour brush apply the pressed powder to the lower half of the cheekbone for a darker defined look. The highlighter works by directing the light to the face, illuminating key facial features that catch the light naturally. Apply the highlighter to the upper cheekbone, hollow of the chin, and length of the nose. Finish the look with a bronzer or complexion enhancer (depending on your skin tone), by applying to the apples of the cheeks, temples, and to blend your contouring on the lower cheekbone.

Face Form has been available overseas since March, but should be hitting sleekmakeup.com for U.S. purchases this week.

P.S. My friend Erica has swatches of Face Form in Dark here.

Sleek, FTW, once again! As much as I’d LOVE to see them in the states, maybe it’s a good thing I have to order over-seas. I’d go broke if I could pick their stuff up at the corner store! Ok…I’ll risk it.

I think i have a similar face shape to Kim K, kind of diamond shaped, narrow forehead, high cheekbones, narrow jawline, but my jaw is not something i want to contour lol maybe ill try contouring my nose, i never did it before! lol
