My Interactive-ish Poland Picture Post

Have SLR will take pics!

So anyway, I have dozens of pics from my recent trip to Poland that I wanted to share, but rather than rattle off about them, I figured I’d just post them and have you guys ask me questions about anything (things like “How’s the H&M there?” and “What’s with the TK Maxx?” “How was the flight and hotel?” and “Are there any Black people in Poland?” are totally acceptable…lol).

Enjoy the pics and don’t forget to leave comments with your questions or remarks! You can see more on my Instagram timeline (can’t carry the camera all the time, but my iPhone goes EVERYWHERE…lol) and my recent An American Beauty Fiend in Poland post :)

OMG these kids were SO excited to see us (us being me and Lara of PrettyConnected.com). They were yelling “HIIIIIIII!!!” in unison as we passed by. I TOTALLY felt like a rockstar in a mosh pit…lol.

So leave your comments/questions below! I’ll be back to answer and such ;)

Wow! Can’t believe you were in Poland. I would love to hear more about your experience. I’m an African-American woman married to a Polish man (living here in the US at the moment) and have had some “interesting” experiences visiting Krakow. Haven’t been to Warsaw though, so that may be completely different. Thanks also for all the posts about the hot brands. My in-laws are always sending me beauty products from there and asking me what I’d like to try, so now I have some things to add to my list!

      Hey!

I haven’t been to Krakow, but Warsaw is pretty awesome! I got a few stares here and there, but nothing that made me feel uncomfortable. Two Asian girls in our group said that some drunken Polish men were yelling at them one night and saying racist things though. But in my own personal experience, it was cool—I mean, I was only there for a few days though…lol. The customer service at the shops was phenomenal. As much as I like H&M, the stores I frequent in the city have some really disgruntled workers…lol. In Warsaw they were super friendly and helpful.

I’ll be sure to keep you posted on my Polish beauty finds, too :)

What happened when you were in Krakow? How did you meet your husband? (I’m all nosy…lol)
