If there’s one thing I simply cannot tolerate when getting dressed it’s frumpy, un-fun underwear. I honestly believe that you dictate the type of day you have by what you put on underneath. Sad undies? Sad day. Which is why I always make sure I’m wearing something cute—and you know, like mom always said—what if there’s an emergency and you get put in an ambulance? Wouldn’t you want to be wearing your best ;)
After seeing how fun and cool the Hanes Fall 2014 Lookbook is (I posted it here if you missed it), I got inspired to give you a glimpse into what a typical day for me looks like and partnered with Hanes to do a really fun photo shoot to show you the under things that help get me through my busy schedule. OMG everything is SO cute (and SO affordable) you’ll be like me and want every single thing.
7:03 A.M.
Rise and shine! I’m currently on my 7 A.M. wakeup schedule nowadays—because you know, the early bird catches the worm. Beauty blogging is a tough job but someone’s gotta do it…lol.

Ahh—I’m not ready to start the day yet—this is my version of hitting the snooze button…lol. I’m also really excited because when I saw this Hanes ComfortFlex Fit® The Bandini® Foam Cup Wirefree Bra I was all “yeah—that’s not gonna fit.” I’m 38DDD and was surprised that the XL not only fit but actually gave me some support. I like to wear a soft bra around the house whether I’m lounging around or working on the blog—even when I come home from being out all day, I take off my bra and put on a soft “house” bra, so this one is PERFECT. I need more colors now.

OK seriously—I need to get up but clearly I’m enamored with these Boy Brief Cotton Panties. They look like you borrowed ’em from the guys but they’re made for us. Super cute and super comfy for all day wear.

Alright—I’m out of the bed and getting ready for the day. Because getting ready for the day entails remaking that infamous Tom Cruise scene in Risky Business.

I’m dressed! Time to start blogging. One of my easiest outfits is a comfy tee and jeans—you can add heels to give it some oomph or keep it super casual with slide-on sneakers. A basic white tee is a definite must-have in your wardrobe (so simple and easy to layer) and for fall I love this long sleeve Hanes V-neck.

Time to get to work!

Thanks, Ashley! With H&M mens you really have to go in and try it on. Some things can be really fitted and some can be more of a men’s fit. I usually get a size or two smaller than what I’d buy in the H&M women’s section, but with this jacket I wound up getting the same size I wear in women’s since it’s so fitted but because I’m tall I also get sleeves that actually cover my wrists…lol.
This is my 1st time on your blog and I love it. I have to go read some more of your stuff. Your pictures made me want to go to my local walmart and get some hanes gear.
