Super quick review of the Morphe About Last Night Palette, and then if you want to see me demo an eye makeup look with it, I’ll have a Youtube video embedded below!

This Morphe palette is part of the ULTA Holiday 2018 lineup. I was given the palette after attending the press event—for more info on that plus what other amazing products you can expect to see at ULTA this holiday, I’ll also embed my Youtube videos on it below.

I was VERY happy and excited to see this palette as we know too many mass beauty (shoot and even some high end) holiday palettes can tend to be notoriously unfriendly to deeper skin tones. It has 9 gorgeous shades in it with a mix of mattes and shimmers. I love that I can complete an eye look with just this one palette without having to reach for any other singles or palettes—this makes this palette perfect for when I travel.

Now I haven’t been a huge fan of Morphe palettes in the past as you can read in the past, but the quality, performance, and sleek look of this palette may have single handedly changed my mind about the brand in general (you can hear me talk about this more in my video embedded below). The shadows are nicely pigmented and work with or without an eyeshadow primer. I did have some minor creasing by the end of the day without a primer, but it was still pretty impressive. With a primer I was able to maintain my eye makeup look ALL DAY on one of the most hot and humid NYC days where I had to also be running around the city. More impressive is that this palette is only $12. And thankfully none of that factory smell I experienced with the larger 35-shadow Morphe palettes.

I’m in love with this palette and think it’s worth taking a look at when it launches at ULTA on Nov 4th. Of course this is provided you don’t already have similar colored shadows and you can find great use out of the colors in this Morphe About Last Night Palette.

Bottom line: I love the sleek design of this palette, love the performance of the shadows, LOVE the pigmentation and the colors, and think it’s a great value overall.

Price and where to buy: $12 at ULTA starting Nov 4th.
