Happy Monday, y’all!

This weekend was so fun! My body might not agree, but it was worth being around amazing friends. I’ll tell you about my weekend and give you deets on this cute winter outfit idea, so keep on reading!

Friday night I stayed in the city after getting my hair done by my fave Gabrielle Corney. Then I had a shoot early Saturday morning with Rose (@dadouchic) where I captured a lot of cute content—make sure you’re subscribed to this blog, my YouTube channel, and follow me on IG so you don’t miss a thing! After shooting we had breakfast at The Butcher’s Daughter. SO GOOD.

I went home after breakfast and took a nap. Mama needs her rest before heading out and I had TWO events to hit Saturday night. First up, Friendsgiving at Gabi’s. She’s always doing really cool gatherings and outdid herself this time. We had food galore and Gabi had the cutest table filled with pictures of all of us scattered around. SO CUTE.

After Friendsgiving, I hightailed it to Melissa’s (@myhaitianhouse) birthday party. MAN, do they know how to party! I LOVE people who know how to kick their heels off, jump on the tables to dance, and just let loose. It was wild and crazy and I enjoyed every second of it. My feet and asthma told a different story, but I took plenty of breaks as to not overdo it.

Stay tuned for more fashion content—I have a video on three ways to style the sweater skirt I’m wearing here that I got from Rent the Runway, a video on more cute winter outfit ideas, and some fun shopping and “spend the day with me” vlogs coming up on my Youtube channel. Make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss it!

P.S. Almost every time I post a winter outfit, I always get someone saying how it wouldn’t work for where they live. Y’all, please use your imagination with these outfits. I have readers from all over the U.S. and the entire globe who have different winters. Even here in NYC the day I shot this, I felt hot wearing tights with this look, so I didn’t wear them. You can add tights, a scarf, and other layers underneath to make it work if it’s very cold where you live. And if it’s too warm for where you live, take inspiration from the silhouette and colors and find something similar in lighter weight clothing.
