Danielle’s Dinner en Blanc Part Deux Recap and Photos!

Danielle’s Dinner en Blanc Part Deux was FREAKING AMAZING!!! OMG—I am so blessed to have an audience that shows up and SHOWS OUT for this event not once, but TWICE! I had so much fun that I didn’t remember to pick up my phone and get IG stories—I mean, most of the time I was doing beauty bag giveaways so it would have been hard to hold the phone and do that at the same time…lol.

These gorgeous ladies all gathered together on the night of June 6, 2019 at Cafeteria for an evening of laughs, drinks, great food, great convo, and of course TONS of beauty goodies. Thank you to NEST Fragrances, Laura Mercier, beautyblender, EDEN BodyWorks, Laneige, Sulwhasoo, as well as Black woman indie brands Jessie Monroe Nail Care (the gorgeous purple polish I’m wearing in the pics is their Bitter Sweet shade), Adorn in New York (fabulous jewelry), The Best Edge Control (name speaks for itself…lol), and Tatiana Poblah (gorgeous illustrations) for generously giving items for the gift bags.

A BIG, TREMENDOUS, LOUD shout-out to Nicole Nettles of NerddieGirl, the owner of an event concierge service who sponsored all of my signage, place cards, thank you cards, and bookmarks for Danielle’s Dinner en Blanc. She was so on point with the special touches for this event. I’ve used her before for my first Dinner en Blanc and for a friend’s pop-up shop—if you need any kind of step-and-repeat, signage, decorations, etc. for your next event, please consider her. You can contact her via email at info@nerddiegirl.com or via Instagram at nsnettles–she works remotely so she can help you with ordering from most places around the country. She also ordered some beautiful cookies, that unfortunately got held up in a UPS weather-related delay in the midwest.

I absolutely love this event—we also played a beauty giveaway rendition of musical chairs where a bag of beauty goodies is passed around the room while music plays. When the music stops, whoever is holding the bag, wins. Dinner en Blanc is lit, yo!

Thank you to everyone who spent their hard-earned money to buy a ticket and took time out of their busy schedules to come out and enjoy this event! I had a number of people tell me they loved meeting the other ladies in the room—and I totally agree. Everyone’s energy was so positive and fun—you get what you give out :)

I am not sure when I’ll be doing another event like this—my summer is filled with travel and not sure what fall will bring yet. I am thinking of another event where I can have more people, but I would need to work out the logistics and get a brand sponsor.
