I just got a new camera and I figured I’d test things out by showing you a pic of Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense #8, a bold matte red. My twitter buddy AmbieAm told me last week that if I love MAC Ruby Woo, I’d be all other this lipstick, too. And she is surely right! I get so many compliments when I wear Ruby Woo by complete strangers.
This MUFE matte red isn’t as drying as Ruby Woo is nor does it read as cool toned. It’s one of those shades that isn’t completely warm nor completely cool so most undertones and skin tones can rock it.

Ruby Woo is my favorite but it was really drying out my lips this winter. Today I bought the Intense and love it! Have you ever tried Dolce & Gabbana’s Classic Cream Lipstick in Iconic or Fire?
Ruby Woo is so gorgeous it’s a shame it can be so drying! I like to use Cherry Lip Pencil with it so it’s not too bad.
No, I haven’t tried the Dolce & Gabbana lipsticks! I am straight slipping! Next time I’m in the city I need to go to Saks or Bergdorf to try them out. I wonder if the Nordstrom near me sells it. Have you tried them?
It is very drying, more drying than the other matte lipsticks from mac :-(
I haven’t tried them on yet, saw them at Saks and fell in love with the colors but it was extremely crowded for the holidays so I wanted to wait(plus I didn’t want to be greedy during holiday shopping) Going to Saks this tuesday before the snow comes!
