The Style and Beauty Doctor reader Joanne submitted a few reviews of some of her favorite fragrances. I love when you guys submit things (reviews, a hot pair of shoes, an outfit, a lip color, etc.) so keep them coming. If you have something you’d like to submit to the site, please contact me. I’ll reply back to your email if you need to upload anything.

Now sit back, relax, and check out Joanne’s Favorite Fragrances!

Lilly Pulitzer Squeeze

I came across this wonderful scent while at a celebration dinner of a good friend of mine and couldn’t help but be drawn in by the young lady sitting next to me. It smelled of something sweet and fun. Squeeze by Lily Pulitzer is beautiful for the younger crowd but I’m sure the more seasoned women can rock this too! The initial spray of this perfume is fruity but the dry down is where it’s at, it leaves you smelling like a sensual goddess with sweet undertones. Not at all musky and is season appropriate for the spring. I’m pretty sure that guys are drawn to this scent as well, as I have to use it in moderation so that I’m not bombarded on my way to class…LOL. The staying power is great. I typically spray this at around noon and come back home at 7-ish and I can still smell it.

Chanel Allure

I’m gonna let Squeeze have its shine–I will–but Chanel Allure has to be the best perfume of ALL TIME! This has to be my favorite perfume and with good reason. I would like to call this my “grown woman” scent because it is not overpowering and gives subtle notes of sexy. I normally wear this on a nice evening out with my family, girls, or a man friend. I was given this perfume by my cousins from France and I’ve had the bottle for more than two and a half years. The staying power is wonderful, again lasting all day on me. It does have a deep musky smell but not at all bad to the point where you’re smelling like a tropical rainforest. Out of all the scents I would recommend this one with high favor.

Ed Hardy Hearts & Daggers

The funny story behind this perfume is that I was actually tricked into purchasing it. The salesman sprayed it on me and I fell in love. He then said he had it in a gift set for the same price of the individual and from there I was sold. Who could resist a deal like that?! This perfume is very sweet and appropriate for the summer. I would say that it can be an everyday perfume as the sweetness dies down as the day progresses. The scent is still noticeable after a day’s wear. It is a young smell but not so young that it could pass for a lollipop scent as the sweetness is more mature.

Jessica Simpson Fancy Nights

A sexy smell only reserved for date nights during the summer! When I tell you this is so lovely it’ll make the sexiest woman weep tears—well maybe not all that, but I’m sure she’d like this one. I own all the Jessica Simpson Fancy perfumes and out of all three I prefer this one. It’s a deep, woodsy scent with a dry down of a musky mist. I absolutely love that it still lingers once you leave a room and I love when that happens. I wouldn’t advise to wear this during the day as it is “too much” for the daytime or office wear. Again the staying power is wonderful. If you are undecided on which Jessica Simpson to purchase, get this one!

Have you tried Dolce & Gabbana 3?! It smells soooo beautiful, I had to return mines though, it didn’t last AT ALL on me. :/
