We’ve already established how ridiculously pigmented black | UP New Blush is. Now thanks to black | UP sending over more shades for review consideration, I now bring you five more shades to love. (We know how I feel about blush so this of course has me wanting to do cartwheels).

So yes, black UP New Blush which is a fairly new launch for the brand (this is the first time I’m ever trying the brand so I don’t know what their previous blush was like) is absolutely spectacular. They’re like I already mentioned, super pigmented, last all day (at least eight hours which I count as a “day” when it comes to wearing makeup), and they come in some really beautiful shades. Check out black | UP and They’re Ridiculously Pigmented Blushes to see the other shades I swatched and reviewed.

But for now we’re focusing our attention on…

black-up-new-blush-2-nbl02
NBL02, a matte bright magenta (blue-based bold pink–works on all skin tones but needs to be toned down with blending and some loose powder on lighter skin)

black-up-new-blush-05-nbl05
NBL05, a matte peachy coral (packs enough pigment to show up beautifully on light, medium, and dark skin)

black-up-new-blush-8-nbl08
NBL08, a sheer shimmery yellow-gold that works best as a highlighter on dark skin or as a shimmery sheer blush on lighter skin (when I first saw this on the black | UP site, I thought it was a matte yellow blush and was so intrigued but then found out it wasn’t…lol)

black-up-new-blush-10-nbl10
NBL10, a matte deep rose (don’t judge a book by its color with this blush—in the packaging it looks like a blah brick-ish brown but it’s SO much prettier on—works as a pretty contour blush shade on lighter skin and as a pretty neutral deep rose on darker skin)

black-up-new-blush-11-nbl11
NBL11, a pink coral with slight shimmer (works well on all skin tones)

I mean, I don’t even know if there are enough English words to describe how much I love these blushes—they’re insanely good. The finish gives a nice almost air-brushed sort of look particularly with the mattes.

[The camera didn’t really pick up the differences in the shades on me, but in person they don’t look as similar as they appear in the pics with the blush on me.]

They come in 12 shades altogether.

Bottom line: Definite must-have in your stash especially if you’re a blush lover like me.
