Did you see me this morning on the TEE VEE? It was so much fun pretending to be a model again with the lovely style expert and author of The Bra Book Jené Luciani! She put together several looks based on different hues of denim and I modeled a cobalt blue pair from The Limited.

I got to meet Rosanna Scotto (LOVE her), got a glimpse of Mike Woods, chatted a bit with Mets Hall of Famer John Franco (he’s soooo nice), and then saw a football player who one of my Facebook friends later ID’d as possibly Victor Cruz from the Giants.
Oh and P.S. thank goodness for this stretched out video because when I caught a glimpse of myself in the cameras at the station, I looked like Barney :x lol

Cobalt blue is one of my fav colors. I’ve been leary of colored jeans, mostly because they never fit, but the way you all were styled looks classic.

Hey! The jeans they had me wear were slightly too big for me in the waist (I deliberately asked for a bigger size so I wouldn’t look like a stuffed sausage on camera…lol) so that helped a little. Too tight and bright would look CRAZY on me…lol.

Can we have a post about colored denim jeans please? I know that you’ve posted about it, but now that I’ve decided to get a pair everything is ankle length, which on me would be like a capri lol. Even the talls have a 30 inch inseam.
Check Urban Outfitters for color denim in longer length. The Cigarette high waisted denim has a length of 34″ inseam.

Yeah, it’s not something I would wear myself, but Jené was trying to make it look more work-appropriate so I can see where the blazer came in when she put the look together. In my own everyday style, I’d wear them with a graphic tee, leather blazer, and combat boots ;)
LOL—I totally looked like Barney when I looked at the cameras on set. Those things are SO unforgiving…lol.

YOU LOOKED WAY PAST AMAZING!! YOu totally pulled off those jeans and I need a pair of peg leg (is that what its called) skinny jeans that expose the ankles but I cant seem to get it together…I really liked the shirt too…loose fitting shirts (especially under blazers) have been grabbing my attention!
