The last thing a beauty addict needs is another beauty obsession, but alas here I am…lol. But if smelling amazing is wrong, I don’t wanna be right ;)

I recently became more acquainted with the Kilian fragrance brand by way of the Net-a-Porter Beauty press preview a couple of weeks ago and since then have been completely obsessed. Namely with scents Straight to Heaven (top notes – Jasmine, Virginia Cedar; middle notes – Rum, Nutmeg; base notes – Patchouli) and Good Girl Gone Bad (top notes: Jasmine, Osmanthus, May Rose; middle notes: Indian Tuberose, Narcissus; base notes: Amber, Cedar).

These scents last a ridiculously long time and are both incredibly intoxicating. Like I want to take myself out on a date whenever I put them on…lol. Good Girl Gone Bad is possibly the ONLY floral in the world that I’ve ever liked.

And I’m also obsessed with the two travel sets I received from net-a-porter.com: Travel To Shanghai Woodsy Harmony Discovery (comes with an engraved atomizer and three refillable 7.5 ml perfume vials—in addition to Straight to Heaven it also includes Back to Black: top notes – Honey, Amber; middle notes – Tobacco, Cardamom; base notes – Patchouli, Almond. In The City Of Sin: top notes – Pink Pepper, Guatemalan Cardamom; middle notes – Plum, Incense; base notes – Atlas Cedar, Patchouli) and Good Girl Gone Bad purse spray (a 7.5ml spray entwined with a golden serpent).

I’m seriously going to be with a little spritz of my new scents so I can have sweet dreams…lol.

Kilian also released two new fragrances for spring adding to the Asian Tales Collection: Imperial Tea and Sacred Wood. Imperial Tea is a soft yet zesty blend of sweet notes of authentic Jasmin tea, expertly blended with notes of Jasmin Sambac, Tea Accord and White Musk. You’ll love this scent if you enjoy the fragrance of exotic tea–it’s energetic yet calming at the same time. Sacred Wood is comprised of Carrot, Cumin and Geranium at the heart and finished with a dry down of Sandalwood, Cedarwood, and Incense. If you’re a lover of woody oriental scents, this is all you.

Good Girl Gone Bad 7.5 ml perfume spray ($150) at net-a-porter.com

Girl I was excited until I saw those prices! Lol but if they have a travel set I may try it, because I want something that lasts all day and isn’t easily accessible at like Sephora. I want something that is tempting and in so many words tempting. Which one would you recommend?

LOL!!! I REALLY love Straight to Heaven but didn’t want to splurge on a full bottle just yet (I sometimes get “tired” of a scent after a few months) so I got the travel set because then I’d have two other perfumes to try as well. Good Girl Gone Bad is my second favorite.

But like you said, they last all day and isn’t easily accessible so you can have a scent that many others won’t have. Or at least this is what I tell myself to justify the price. If I’m still in love with Straight to Heaven after a few months, I’m going to either buy the full $245 bottle OR get one of the refills from Saks to add to my travel set.

But when it comes to expensive fragrances, I always try to get little samples first and let it sit with me for a few days/weeks until I’m definitely sure it’s what I want.
