The Tata Harper Glowing Skin Trick I’m LOVING

A few months back I was hanging out with my Face Flawless Skin homies Christene and Felicia when I noticed Felicia’s skin was exceptionally glow-y. And this was without a stitch of makeup. Of course being the skincare nut that I am, I leaned in all close and was like “YOOOOOOO what are you using on your skin right now?!?!?!” (because that’s how one inquiries about one’s skincare routine…lol). Turns out she was doing what I call the Tata Harper glowing skin trick.

I’m no stranger to Tata Harper—I’m a fan of the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask which I loved using a spot treatment in the past. The two products that Felicia put me onto were the Resurfacing Mask and the Regenerating Cleanser and the following instruction from the brand:

(start with clean skin obviously)

1. Apply the Regenerating Cleanser to dry skin and massage gently to activate the enzymes and exfoliate the skin. Leave the cleanser on for the next step.

2. Apply a thick layer of the Resurfacing Mask on top of the Regenerating Cleanser. Leave on for 10-15 minutes then rinse with warm water.

(follow with treatment and moisturizer as usual—if it’s daytime make sure you use an SPF)

Sounds cool, right? What was even cooler was that Sephora had a Tata HarperGlow On Demand Pre & Post Party Natural Beauty Essentials kit that had smaller sizes of the products and a few others so I just got that to try instead of committing to the full sizes. I had the kit for a while because I was waiting for the right time to use it and found one when my skin looked like it could use a little boost.

(Typically the skin could use a radiance boost in the winter since the repair process tends to slow down when the temps drop leaving excess dead skin cells on the surface. This is also why exfoliation whether chemical or physical is key—but don’t over do it. About 1-2 times a week if needed.)

I’m loving how smooth and glow-y my skin looks BUT I work from home so it’s being wasted…lol. The furthest I’ve been besides going to my mail service to collect packages is Aldi to re-up on K-cups. But I’ve been making myself happy any time I get a glimpse of my skin whenever I pass a mirror. Heyyyyyyyy

Bottom line: I love this for a once-in-a-while skin boost and then I can use the cleanser more often if I wanted and the mask periodically. But here’s a little tip from me to you if you want to try this once to see how you like it before committing to anything: (and you probably already do this but anytime I mention this people get all “ohhhhh ahhhhhh” like they hadn’t considered it, so here goes) get a sample at Sephora of both the Regenerating Cleanser and the Regenerating Mask. Even the small sample size amount you’ll get will typically be enough for one application. If you love it, consider treating yourself to the kit or even full sizes of the products.

Price and where to buy: Tata Harper Glow On Demand Pre & Post Party Natural Beauty Essentials kit is $48 exclusively at Sephora. Full size Regenerating Cleanser ranges in prices from $38-$75 and full size Regenerating Mask is $55 also at Sephora. Get 4% cash back (although currently it’s 8% which they do from time to time) when you use eBates.
