Non-ashy (1)

I talk about sunscreen a ton here and how important it is to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays, prevent premature aging, AND while you need to wear it everyday no matter if it’s raining or cloudy or if it’s winter, you especially need it when you’re working through skincare issues like dark spots and acne.

There are a gazillion posts to read here on sunscreen, but now there’s VIDEO! Make sure you SUBSCRIBE to my Youtube channel and watch it below.

For any woman many derms would suggest at least SPF 15 and some will say at least SPF 30. But don’t get wrapped up in the number after the SPF. SPF 30 doesn’t provide twice the amount of protection as SPF 15. SPF 15 blocks about 94% of sun’s harmful rays and SPF 30 blocks about 97% ALSO sunscreen no matter the SPF has to be reapplied about every 2 hours (things like sweat can break down its efficacy) and needs to be reapplied immediately after getting wet (i.e. swimming, getting caught in a random thunderstorm, etc).
