Welcome back to another Beauty Products I’ve Finished post! I’ve finished some products recently and will share why they were good to the last drop. Now remember, as I’ve said in previous posts like this, just because I didn’t finish a product doesn’t mean it’s not a good product. I am a recovering beauty junkie so I would buy a LOT of stuff because I lacked self-control (haha) and I also get a ton of product in from brands so there are products that are amazing but that I don’t get around to finishing because either it’s not something I need to use daily or because I have a gazillion others like it. You guys seemed to like the last two posts, so here I am with another one.
Murad Oil Control Mattifier SPF 15
I’ve gone through at least 4-5 of these since I first tried this moisturizer back in 2013. I actually finished this a few months ago but was holding off on posting until I finished some other products so this post wouldn’t just have one item in it…lol. I love this as my warm weather moisturizer (sheesh, I can’t even say “spring/summer moisturizer” because we get that kind of weather in January and February now). I love it because it keeps my oily skin in check which in turn helps my makeup last longer. You can read more about it here.
Murad Anti Aging Moisturizer SPF 30
This is my “moderate weather” moisturizer. I usually use it during the spring/fall but this winter hasn’t been as cold so there have been plenty of times I’ve used it during this winter. I like that this is more hydrating than the Murad Mattifier which is great for moderate temperatures, but isn’t heavy. It’s not hydrating enough for me for below freezing temps though. You can read more about it here.
Pantene Gold Series
I’ve finished a number of Pantene Gold Series products in my last post, and here I’ve finished the Moisturizing Shampoo, Curl Defining Pudding, and Repairing Mask. My hair LOVES this line. You can read more about it here.
Nubian Heritage Abyssinian Oil & Chia Seed Hand and Body Scrub
I don’t think I’ve ever not finished a SheaMoisture or Nubian Heritage body scrub. This Abyssinian Oil & Chia Seed SMELLS SO GOOD. It reminds me of one of my pricy perfumes yet doesn’t overpower whatever fragrance I wind up putting on. I like that the granules in the scrub are substantial enough that I feel like my body is getting a good scrub, but not rough where I have cuts all over me.
Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer
This has been a long-time fave of mine that I’ve been using off and on for over a decade. I love the ingredients: Vitamin C Ester (brightening), Alpha Lipoic Acid (antioxidant that fights free radicals), DMAE (helps to keep skin taut) and it hydrates well. I like that it sinks into my skin without feeling heavy. I typically use it as my nighttime moisturizer but I can wear it during the day when the weather is more moderate and even when it’s freezing. I do need to add SPF if I wear it during the day and will use either Murad Invisiblur or the Paula’s Choice SPF primer serum. Read more about it here.
