This Zara Sale Skirt + Monday TRIED to Come for My Neck

Happy Monday, ya’ll!!!

My Monday morning was off to a ROUGH start. My iPhone X has been acting up to the point where it kept freezing and placing emergency calls (a result of a delayed response to me pressing the side button a number of times). This morning my alarm wouldn’t shut off because the phone was frozen and wouldn’t respond to any of my screen tapping. My alarm songs are HIGH powered Soca songs (i.e. “Ministry of Road” by Machel Montano) and old school hip-hop songs that get you AMPED (i.e. “Ante Up” by M.O.P.) so imagine not being able to snooze or turn that off when you’re getting up…lol. Then it took me like two hours to backup and restore my phone and I still might have to go to the Apple store after all this. I also had to reschedule a call and may have missed my gym window (I’ll figure out how to get back in it). If my phone doesn’t work by tomorrow, Verizon said they can send me a new one, so not so bad.

Meanwhile, my attention span was everywhere while waiting for my phone to restore from my iCloud backup. I made a grocery list, scrubbed my bathroom floor, cleaned the toilet, sprayed the tiles, edited photos from a recent shoot, and answered emails while I was waiting…lol.

But anyway, I picked up this skirt at the Zara sale. I don’t often shop in store, but I happened to be in the area and waltzed in. I think this was somewhere near $20 but the shape and color is what drew me in. I don’t think I’ll ever not be here for a statement skirt. AND I can wear this one beyond this season because it’s not so trendy that it’ll become dated in a year or more. HOLLA!
