Beauty Products I’ve Finished Recently (Vol 7): Olay Regenerist, L’Oreal Elnett, L’Oreal Brow Stylist + MORE!

I’ve finished some products recently and will share why they were good to the last drop. Now remember, as I’ve said in previous posts like this, just because I didn’t finish a product doesn’t mean it’s not a good product. I also get a ton of product in from brands so there are products that are amazing but that I don’t get around to finishing because either it’s not something I need to use daily or because I have a gazillion others like it.

Let’s get into this post though…

Also, I didn’t finish all of these at the same time—I save empties so that I have enough to make a decent well-rounded post.

Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream (Fragrance-Free)

Disclosure: I’ve worked with Olay many times, but bought this myself

In the past I’ve spent over $100 on a single jar of night cream. No regrets, I loved that stuff, but why pay extra money for a good moisturizer if you don’t have to? I have to allocate my coins for other things like business expenses, paying off debt, saving for retirement, and having a nice little nest egg so that my third husband and I can pool our funds and travel the world together in my silver years.

I love Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream (I prefer the Fragrance-Free version) because it’s chock full of niacinamide, an ingredient that helps with skin texture, evening the skin tone, hydration, and more. I love how luxurious it feels even though I only paid $18 for it on Amazon (I got it straight from Olay on Amazon—not some random lady who lives in a cabin with 17 cats…lol)

L’Oreal Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hairspray for Dry, Damaged Hair

I’m so glad my hairstylist (and friend) Gabrielle Corney put me onto this hairspray. Some time ago, you could only get L’Oreal Elnett in Europe so hairstylists would buy it in bulk when traveling to the continent and bring it back to the states. L’Oreal finally brought it stateside some years ago and I couldn’t be happier. I love that this spray has great hold while leaving my hair completely touchable. Stiff whaaaaat!?!?!

I have natural hair (see my hair timeline here) and when I have it heat-styled straight along with extensions, I love this spray for keeping my curls in place. Now that I’m wearing more wigs (both U-part and full lace), I love that this spray can help maintain my salon style for over a week.

L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer in Brunette

Disclosure: I’ve received this in PR before, but also buy this in bulk myself whenever there’s a BOGO sale.

This is a staple in my makeup stash and has to be the most-emptied product in the history of this series. I love that it’s a nice dupe for Anastasia Brow Wiz at less than half the price.

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in Almond

I love the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer (see which other shades I wear here) and hate that they got rid of this version of the concealer (read about that here). Shade Almond is perfect for highlighting under my brow bone.

Pantene Gold Series Leave-on Detangling Milk

Disclosure: I’ve worked with Pantene in the past

I’ve written about how much I love this line and the products from the series have often appeared in my empties series. Read how I use the Detangling Milk here.

Pantene Gold Series Hydrating Butter-Creme

Disclosure: I’ve worked with Pantene in the past

Another staple from the Pantene Gold line. See how I use it in my routine here.

Royal Oils from Head & Shoulders Daily Moisture Scalp Cream

Disclosure: I work with Head & Shoulders

This is like my third bottle of the Royal Oils Scalp Cream—I LOOOOVE! It’s reduced my scalp itchiness SO MUCH since I’ve been using it. You can read more about the Royal Oils collection and scalp health here.

Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Serum

Disclosure: I’ve received this in PR and have also bought it myself

I love the Murad Resurgence line! I started using it when my dermatologist suggested that I start using more retinol in my routine. Retinol is a multi-tasking skincare ingredient that can help improve skin texture, even skin tone, improve radiance, fight the signs of aging, and more. I’ve noticed results quickly with this, but I definitely love the improvement it (along with my Olay Regenerist cream) has had on my skin over time.

Murad Anti-Aging Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Disclosure: I’ve received this in PR and have also bought it myself

I rotate moisturizers with the seasons and when my skincare needs change (read more about why you should do this, too here). In addition to this daytime moisturizer, I also love Olay Luminous Whips SPF 25 and Murad Oil Control Mattifier SPF 15. I typically use this moisturizer in moderate to almost cold temps (like around 32-50 degrees). It’s part of the Murad Anti-Aging Acne line which I was using when I had issues with adult acne, but I love the texture of the moisturizer and how nicely it keeps me hydrated without feeling heavy.
